​Established in 1915, the historic Jefferson Highway once made its way over more than 2,300 miles from Winnipeg, Manitoba to New Orleans, Louisiana.  Oklahoma was an important part of this historic route and today its memory and legacy can still be seen, to those looking for it.   This site is dedicated to the highway's historic past and its exciting future as a heritage tourism byway in the state of Oklahoma.
